Our Showgrounds

The Prince of Wales Showgrounds is a multi-functional Showgrounds precinct catering for up to 30,000 people located less than 3kms from the Bendigo CBD.

Officially opened in 1968, Bendigo’s Prince of Wales Showgrounds are Regional Victoria’s premier showgrounds. The five acre main arena is the largest showgrounds arena in Victoria. Each year the showgrounds caters to more than 500,000 people and the showgrounds complex is one of Bendigo’s most utilised facilities hosting a weekly Sunday market that attracts up to 10,000 people each week, as well as a range of other annual major events such as the Australian Sheep and Wool Show, Bendigo National Swap Meet, National Beef Show and the ground’s premier event the Bendigo Agricultural Show.
